Real experience

Second time we’ve been to the Florida Cracker Kitchen in Brooksville and, if it’s possible, this food was even more spectacular this time around! The five of us had our stomachs stretched to the max with shrimp & fried grits cakes & shrimp frittata along with the brisket sandwich and of course the eggs, gravy and biscuits & bacon staples. You just can’t go wrong with the quality and quantity of the food here!! A must stop by if you’re ever in the area.

We love going to the Florida Cracker Kitchen & Tap Room in Brooksville. Some of our favorites are Papa Gators Brisket sandwich, gator tail, chicken & waffle, & the shrimp & grits. Don’t forget the strawberry mimosas in the Tap Room. Make sure you come prepared to wait to be seated, the wait is usually long, but worth it.

One suggestion, ask people if they want to seat inside or out. The lady at front today never asked if we wanted to seat outside or inside. When we were taken to a bench we advised her that we didn’t like that and needed back support, she gave us a bad attitude and put us back at the end of the list having empty tables inside.

The food was great and our server did a good job. However, not having soda and out of the beer that my husband order was not a good experience either.

In Florida on business and my cousin told me about this place so we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! I got the Cracker Omelette and is was super fluffy with large chunks of sausage and bacon. My friends each got the burgers and they were very pleased! The table next to us had a cinnamon roll and it looks so gooey and delicious! We will be back again and will definitely get one of those for the road!!

5 Stars, Super fantastic delicious food. The absolute best biscuits and gravy I have ever had any where period….. The corned Beef Hash was also excellent along with everything we ordered. Super tasty, quality fresh ingredients make it all O sooooo good. Will definitely be back here alot to try it all.

Food and service were fantastic. We started breakfast with a cinnamon roll. That was extremely good but rich. We split that. I got the Florida Cracker and my wife got the French toast. Both were very good. Atmosphere is great. Cute little dining area. Get there early as it is small and gets very busy. It’s pretty neat as the change you get is in two dollar bills.

Excellent food, amazing service and all the food was homemade, fresh and so delicious! I loved the coconut shrimp, my husband loved his gator bites, the cinnamon roll is absolutely sweet & divine and we all ordered the huge breakfast burrito and pancakes! The portions are so generous ! I love the menu and we will definitely come back to try more options. We highly recommend that you come and visit and taste the best food in Brooksville!!
